About Us
He was a founding member and President of the Board of Trustees of the Worsley Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture, a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to making Classical Five-Element Acupuncture at its best available to everyone. He has studied T'ai Chi with the School of T'ai Chi Chuan, founded by Professor Patrick Watson, since 1976, and has taught since 1982. David practiced in Bethesda, Maryland from 1985 until moving to Seattle in 2004.

David Goodell L.Ac., Dipl Ac. NCCAOM, has studied Classical Five-Element Acupuncture since 1984 with the Worsleys. David earned his M.Ac. degree from J.R. and Judy Worsley and has participated in their Master Apprentice Program™ since its inception in 1997.
April Hulvershorn L.Ac., Dipl Ac. NCCAOM, has practiced in Seattle since 1999. She worked at the Harvard School of Public Health and studied natural medicine at Bastyr University before finding Classical Five-Element Acupuncture and deciding to make it her career. She has studied with late Professor J.R. Worsley and his successor, Judy Becker Worsley since 2000, and has been a participant in the Master Apprentice Program™ taught by the Worsleys since 2002. She is the President of the Center for Classical Five-Element Acupuncture, P.S., and organizes Patient Consultations with Judy Worsley for practitioners in the Pacific Northwest.
